Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee
Nominations of Laura Daniel-Davis, Camille Touton, Sara Bronin
The hearing will be held on Tuesday, September 21, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. in Room 366 of the Dirksen Senate Office Building in Washington, D.C.
The purpose of the hearing is to consider the nominations of:
- Laura Daniel-Davis to be an Assistant Secretary of the Interior (Land and Minerals Management). She is now the Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of that department, and previously worked as Chief of Policy and Advocacy for the National Wildlife Federation, after serving as chief of staff to the Obama secretaries of the Interior.
- Camille Camlille Touton to be Commissioner of Reclamation. She is now deputy commissioner of the Bureau of Reclamation, and served as senior professional staff for the U.S. House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure, professional staff for the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee and the U.S. House Natural Resources Committee
- Sara C. Bronin to be Chairman of the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation. She is a Mexican-American architect, attorney, professor, and policymaker.
