On Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at 10:15 a.m. in room 1324 Longworth House Office Building, the Committee on Natural Resources, Subcommittee on Water, Wildlife and Fisheries will hold a legislative hearing on the following bills:

  • H.R. 839 (Rep. Arrington), To prohibit the implementation of a Land Protection Plan for Muleshoe National Wildlife Refuge
  • H.R. 1809 (Rep. Quigley), Great Lakes Fishery Research Reauthorization Act
  • H.R. 2293 (Rep. Ezell, R-Miss.), Cormorant Relief Act of 2025, to allow catfish farmers and other aquaculture producers to continue to cull predatory double-crested cormorants
  • H.R. 2316 (Rep. Hurd, R-Colo.), Wetlands Conservation and Access Improvement Act of 2025, to continue the excise tax on firearms, ammunition, and archery equipment for wildlife habitat conservation though 2033
