The last DNC Party Officer Candidate Forum will be held on Thursday, January 30 starting at 3:00 p.m. ET. The DNC is partnering with MSNBC and the Georgetown Institute of Politics and Public Service to co-host our next in-person officer candidate forum for qualified candidates in Washington D.C.
Location: Gaston Hall at Georgetown University
37th & O Streets, N.W., Washington, D.C. 20057
Attendance is closed to the public. DNC members in the audience will not be allowed to have signs, placards, banners or noisemakers in Gaston Hall. The Forum will also be livestreamed on the MSNBC and DNC YouTube channels. To be in the audience for the chair forum, members must have arrived at Gaston Hall by 7:15 pm.
The moderators for the Eastern Regional DNC Officer Forum include:
- MSNBC anchors Jen Psaki, Symone Sanders-Townsend, and Jonathan Capehart will moderate the forum for Chair candidates.
- MSNBC guest anchor Luke Russert will moderate the forum for Vice Chair of Civic Engagement and Voter Participation candidates.
- Mo Elleithee, Executive Director of Georgetown University’s Institute of Politics and Public Service, a Fox News contributor and DNC at-large member, will moderate the forums for Vice Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, and National Finance Chair candidates.
Elleithee has pledged neutrality and will not vote in the elections for the candidates he is moderating.
Questions from DNC members had to be submitted at least 48 hours before the forum to be considered.
This forum will focus on questions from DNC Members of the Eastern Region.
